Early Life

I was born and raised in Newark-on-Trent, a small market town in the East Midlands, UK, and later pursued Physiotherapy at Coventry University.

From age 14, I knew I wanted to be a physical therapist for a professional soccer club, and at 22, I got my break with a professional club in London. After leaving football, I established a private clinic and now own three across three different counties, each operating a cash-pay model.

I’m a father to two incredible boys; Teddy and Albie. As a family, we love being outdoors, and regularly take time away from the clinics to travel, both in the UK and abroad.

Life In Soccer

I had the opportunity to work for several football clubs across the country, which accelerated my development as a physio and sharpened my clinical skills. This time in football allowed me to make essential connections with leading consultants and exposed me to a wide range of complex injuries, for which I am truly grateful. However, after four or five years, I felt a shift within myself.

I realised that adhering to someone else’s schedule was limiting my potential. I had bigger aspirations and a strong desire to pursue my own path. I had developed an entrepreneurial itch and knew I wanted to create something that would grow on my terms.

So, I took a leap of faith and left the world of football to start my private practice. It began in a humble shed in my garden, but I had a vision for something much greater. The exposure, skills, and connections I developed in football laid the groundwork for our clinic’s philosophy, enabling us to offer a unique approach to physio within our community.

Establishing Sharp Physiotherapy

Through this journey, I quickly realised that strong clinical skills would only take me so far. To build something truly remarkable—something that gives me both freedom and fulfillment—I needed to master business, particularly marketing skills.

With a strong marketing strategy in place, I realised that scaling my business was truly possible. Whenever I have encountered obstacles, whether it was finding staff or attracting new patients, my marketing skills have guided me through.

In essence, marketing has become the solution to virtually every problem I have faced. It has transformed the way I operate my business and opened doors to opportunities I never knew existed. Once I established a strong marketing strategy, I was able to move in to different geographical locations, consistently generating new patients.
